Design Korea 2007 - The Center of Design Business

DESIGN KOREA 2007 is held with the goal of creating international
business through the promotion of the design industry's capability
to both the domestic and foreign markets.
In order to implement specific design business and deliver
abundant and various design information, we drasticaly expanded
our exhibition space and organizaed a wide variety of programs
in order to meet the need of design business.

Expansion of Event Scale
With the aim of increasing participation by design companies and
organizations, the exhibtion spaces have been organized in a way
that maximizes space efficiency, resulting in an expansionof space
from 7,300m² to 9,700m².

Attraction of Influential overseas Clients
Indeed, Design Korea has grown to be an international design
exhibition, and it has proven itself by attracting 1,468 clients
visiting from 25 countries
in 2005. Becoming one of the major international B2B exhibitions,
DESIGN KOREA 2007 offers specialized business opportunities and
results to participating corporations through active cooperation from
diplomatic offices in foreign countires and by attracting influential clients.


Strategic PR & Marketing
There were 160,000 visitors to DESIGN KOREA 2005.
With the intention of attracting 180,000 visitors this year,
active promotional activities will be carried out using various
advertisement channels. Exhibitors information will be widly promoted
to the visitors, as well as the local and international publics through
domestic and overseas broadcasting, magazines and online communities.


Improved programs for B2B Opportunities
In connection with new specialized presentation halls and various
events, we support aggressive business activities for corporations
and design groups in order to realize strategic business goals.

- The "Business plaza" will enable the creation of new partnerships
by providing and arena for business meetings and counseling.

- Participating manufacturers and design firms will be afforded
access to various forms of publicity, including press conferences,
broadcast media, and magazines leading to new business
opportunities.
